Cancellation policy of a booking for a passenger

If as a passenger you cancel a reservation more than 48 hours prior to the ride departure time:

The total amount of money that would have been paid to the driver as a contribution for the ride will be fully refunded in your user account on Ridesharing.com. It will be immediately available to book a seat on another ride.

Booking fees paid to Ridesharing.com will not be refunded.


If as a passenger you cancel a reservation between 2 and 48 hours prior to the ride departure date and time:

50% of the amount of money that would have been paid to the driver as a contribution for the ride will be refunded in your user account on Ridesharing.com. The balance of this amount of money will not be refunded and will be paid to the driver as compensation for a late cancellation.

Booking fees paid to Ridesharing.com will not be refunded.

If as a passenger you cancel a reservation less than 2 hours prior to the departure OR do not show up at the meeting point less than 15 minutes past the departure time:

The total amount of money that would have been paid to the driver as a contribution for the ride AND booking fees paid to Ridesharing.com will not be refunded.

The driver will be entitled to receive 100% of the contribution that would have been paid to him if he does not find another passenger to replace this cancellation.


If a driver modifies / cancels a ride or does not show at the meeting point less than 15 minutes past the time set for departure:

The total amount of money that would have been paid to the driver as a contribution for the ride AND booking fees paid to Ridesharing.com will be refunded in your user account on Ridesharing.com. In the event that the driver does not show up at the meeting point, you must notify Ridesharing.com within 24 hours to be reimbursed.

The driver will not receive any contribution and restrictions may apply in his account in the future.


Repeated cancellations

Please take note that users' account with repeated cancellations (even if they are done more than 48 hours prior to the ride departure date and time) will be seriously evaluated and Ridesharing.com may restrain access to its Service to those users.


Credit and debit card refund

Users can request a refund of funds available in their user's account by contacting the customer service through the following contact form. Refunds on a credit or debit card will be done only on the card used for the original transaction. For the contribution paid by their passengers, drivers must use one of the 3 modes of money transfer offered by Ridesharing.com.
